Itinerary

Day 1 Cochin to Munnar - Arrival & Transfer

Arrival at Cochin airport meet and assistance.Transfer to Munnar . Munnar is 1800 mts above sea level and
also the place of South India’s highest peak (Anamudi – 2695 mts). On the way visit Valara, Cheeyappara
waterfalls & Tea Plantations. On arrival at Munnar transfer to Hotel. Check in at Hotel. Afternoon visit
Rajamala (Eravikulam National Park), the best place to see Nilgiri Tahr (Hermitragus Hilarious) – the
mountain goat of South India & Tea Museum . Evening have a short visit at Munnar town. You can see the
beautiful tea estates like a green paradise.overnight at the hotel. (The Eravikulam National Park has been
closed to visitors for two months as the breeding season of the endangered species, Nilgiri Tahrs, has begun.

Day 2Munnar - Full Day Sightseein

Morning after breakfast full day visit of Munnar. Mattuppatty dam, Echo Point, Kundalay Dam, Pothenmedu
View Point, Blossom Park etc are some of the highlights of the sightseeing. Shopping & overnight at the
hotel in munnar (The Eravikulam National Park has been closed to visitors for two months as the breeding
season of the endangered species, Nilgiri Tahrs,

Day 3Munnar to Thekkady - Transfer & sightseein

After breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Thekkady , on arrival check in to the hotel. Proceed for
local Sightseeing (if time permits) else day at leisure or own activities and overnight stay at Thekkady. One of
the world’s most fascinating wild life reserves. The Periyar wild life sanctuary in Thekkady is spread across
777 sq km of which 360 sq km is thick ever green forest. Noted for its geomorphology, diversity of wild life
and scenic beauty, the sanctuary was declared a Tiger Reserve in 1978. Sightseeing in Thekkady: Periyar Wild
Life Sanctuary, Spice Plantation.

Day 4Thekkady to Alleppey - Transfer & Houseboat Stay

Check out from the resort and drive to Alleppey. Arrive at Alleppey and board the houseboat at noon for a
backwater cruise and for an overnight stay. While cruising in these floating luxury- villas, let your eyes settle
for the rare and the unusual – skim past Chinese fishing nets, bowed- down paddy fields, and local
inhabitants engaged in making coir products, rustic homes, and ancient temples and swaying coconut
groves. Overnight stay in houseboat.

Day 5Alleppey to Kovalam - Transfer & Sightse

After breakfast checkout from hotel / Houseboat (As per your stay )and drive to Kovalam, on arrival check in
to the hotel. Proceed for local Sightseeing (if time permits) else day at leisure or own activities and overnight
stay at Kovalam.Kovalam is an internationally renowned beach with three adjacent crescent beaches. It has
been a favourite haunt of tourists, especially Europeans, since the 1930s. A massive rocky promontory on
the beach has created a beautiful bay of calm waters ideal for sea bathing. The leisure options at this beach
are plenty and diverse-sunbathing, swimming, herbal body toning massages, special cultural programmes, Catamaran cruising etc. Sightseeing : Padmanabha Swami Temple, Kuthira Maligai Palace, Zoo, Art Gallery
(All places close on Monday except Padmanabha Swami Temple).

Day 6Kovalam - Kanyakumari Day Trip

After early breakfast, drive to Kanyakumari (100 km – 3 hours drive). Proceed for local sightseeing tour in the afternoon. Kanyakumari is located at the southern tip of the Indian subcontinent and represents the site
where the spiritual leader Swami Vivekananda spent days in meditation upon a rock off of the coast. Padmanbhapuram Palace, Suchithram Temple, Devi Kanyakumari Temple, Vivekananda Memorial, Gandhidham and Trivenisangam are some of the sightseeing attractions in Kanyakumari. Enjoy the sunset in the evening and return to Kovalam overnight stay is arranged at kovalam.

Day 7Kovalam to Cochin - Trasfer & sightseeing

After breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Kochi on arrival check in to the hotel. Proceed for local
Sightseeing (if time permits) else day at leisure or own activities and overnight stay at Kochi. Kochi is the
Queen of Arabian Sea, this is one of the finest natural harbors in the World and was one of the major
centers for commerce and trade with British, Chinese, Portuguese, Dutch, etc. Sightseeing in Kochi: Dutch
Palace, (Friday Holiday) Jewish Synagogue, (Friday & Saturday Holidays) Jewish Street, St. Francis Church
(Sunday Holiday) and Chinese Fishing Nets.

Day 8Cochin - Departure

After breakfast check out from the Hotel and drive to Cochin Airport / railway station (depend on your
departure place) for your flight / train back home, feeling contented about a wonderful holiday you spent in
the God’s Own Country.
